Dr. Purnima Gupta
Dr. Purnima Gupta is a Professor of Mathematics from Delhi University. She has contributed to Graph Theory and Combinatorics. She has done her Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Delhi in 2000 and is a Gold Medalist in both her B.A. (Hons) (Mathematics) and M.A. (Mathematics) which she completed in 1971. She has been an All India Rank 1 in the 1965 CBSE Higher Secondary Exam in the Arts and Commerce group. 

Her main contributions have been in the theory of Domination in Graphs and Hypergraphs, Graphoidal Covers and Partition Graphs. Under the guidance of Dr. B.Devadas Acharya she did pioneering work in Graphoidal covers by introducing the concept of Graphoidal domination and also extending them to infinite graphs.
